A well-established multidisciplinary consultancy with a strong presence in the Waikato region is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join their Hamilton team.

My client has an impressive track record spanning three decades in planning, surveying, and engineering services.

This role has emerged from continued growth and strong market activity, with my client currently engaged in several major residential developments and infrastructure projects across the region. Their Hamilton office maintains a specialised focus on land development, working collaboratively across their network to deliver integrated solutions.

With a history of successful project delivery for over 40 years my client has built an enviable reputation for excellence in residential subdivisions, commercial developments, and infrastructure projects.

They work with a diverse range of stakeholders from private developers to local authorities, managing projects from initial concept through to completion.

Responsibilities:

The role encompasses comprehensive project involvement, focusing on land development and infrastructure design.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Technical leadership on major development projects
  • Mentoring and developing junior team members
  • Quality assurance oversight
  • Client relationship management
  • Project delivery management
  • Design review and approval
  • Infrastructure planning and design
Requirements:
  • Tertiary engineering qualification
  • Proven experience in NZ land development projects
  • Strong proficiency in Civil 3D or 12D
  • Either have or working towards CPEng registration
  • Demonstrated project management capability
  • Experience with local authority requirements
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Understanding of infrastructure and servicing constraints
  • Full driver's license
