Assemble Recruitment is thrilled to be partnering with Mainland Capital to identify a dynamic and experienced Marketing and Investor Relations Manager to join the team, based in Christchurch.
Established in 2010, Mainland Capital is a leading real estate funds management company specialising in diverse property assets including office, retail, industrial, self-storage, healthcare, hotels, and land development. The company is renowned for delivering exceptional, risk-adjusted value through its strategic investments and market expertise.
Based in Christchurch, this position of Marketing and Investor Relations Manager will be responsible for shaping and managing Mainland Capital’s brand strategy, delivering impactful marketing initiatives, and strengthening relationships with investors. This role works closely with the executive team and external partners to ensure seamless execution of marketing campaigns and investor engagement strategies.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Marketing:
- Develop, plan and execute targeted marketing initiatives and events to increase brand engagement, visibility, and investor base.
- Manage the company’s website, ensuring up-to-date and compelling content.
- Oversee and manage marketing and event initiatives, including social media, digital and communications.
- Lead Public Relations activities, ensuring positive media coverage and brand messaging.
- Collaborate with the executive team to enhance the Mainland Capital brand and profile.
- Coordinate with external professional teams to develop and refine the Mainland Capital brand.
- The creation of presentations, reports, and overseeing the production of external documents, ensuring brand alignment.
- Manage relationships with external suppliers, including creative and digital agencies and marketing firms.
- Develop, evaluate and approve brand sponsorships and event initiatives that align with the company’s brand strategy.
- Drive the development of new brands for new funds and projects, ensuring they align with Mainland Capital's vision.
- Ensure adherence to brand guidelines and maintain the overall integrity of the Mainland Capital brand.
- Collaborate with the executive team on business development and fund-raising strategies.
- Investor growth and retention strategies
- Management of fund raising strategies, ensuring timely and effective execution.
- Represent Mainland Capital at industry events, building a strong profile and fostering relationships.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or commerce preferred
- Proven experience in marketing, preferably with a well regarded marketing, digital or advertising agency, experience within property, construction, or infrastructure is an advantage
- You will ideally have a strong understanding of fund-raising strategies and investor management processes.
- Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in digital marketing, CRM tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience in InDesign is an advantage.
- Strategic and creative thinker with a strong focus on execution of marketing, brand and event strategies.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
- High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in communications and materials.
- Passionate about creating and managing a diverse range of marketing content and working for an industry leader within real estate funds management.
