The role will cover:
- Large scale earthworks
- 3 waters and drainage
- Subdivision construction
- Lead, supervise, and motivate your team onsite including subcontractors.
- Oversee daily site operations, including earthworks, drainage, and construction tasks.
- Ensure all activities adhere to safety protocols and quality standards.
- Coordinate resources and ensure the efficient use of materials, equipment, and labour.
- Monitor progress and address any on-site challenges.
- Maintain clear communication with the Contracts Manager, project stakeholders, and team members.
- Proven experience in a Foreman or supervisory role in civil construction.
- Strong knowledge of earthworks, drainage, and civil works.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and drawings.
- A strong focus on safety, quality, and productivity.
- Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
- Competency in operating heavy machinery such as graders, diggers, excavators, etc.
