My client is looking to expand their South Island office by hiring an experienced Acquisitions Manager to support the growth of their national commercial real estate portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and secure commercially driven developments and assets with active management plans, while establishing joint venture partnerships aligned with the investment strategy.
- Develop and maintain key relationships to ensure my client is offered strategic opportunities both on and off market.
- Prepare detailed project strategies and plans for development projects and undertake detailed feasibility and financial analysis of prospective projects.
- Management of master planning and consenting processes.
- Select and manage project teams of consultants and contractors in compliance with company policy and objectives to ensure projects are procured on time and within budget.
- Deliver high quality projects that maximise the company’s return on investment.
- Ensure a robust risk management framework and methodology are applied across projects including health and safety protocols.
- A relevant tertiary qualification majoring preferably in valuation, property or finance preferred.
- Experience in commercial property sales and acquisitions is must; you will ideally come from a Capital Markets or Real Estate Investment Sales background within New Zealand.
- Ideally you will have exposure to producing development feasibilities and cash flow forecasts.
- A strong and well-established commercial real estate network across New Zealand is essential.
- Outstanding sales and negotiation skills a must.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written with the ability to produce high quality reports.
