Job description
Assistant Project Manager – Development
Arvida creates vibrant, resident-led retirement communities that empower older New Zealanders to live independently while accessing aged care services. Their values—Being There, In It Together, and Look for a Way—guide every interaction, ensuring they deliver exceptional outcomes for residents and stakeholders.
Following Stonepeak’s acquisition of Arvida in 2024, the business is positioned for growth and enhanced delivery of world-class retirement living. This partnership with a global firm that invests in infrastructure and real assets strengthens their ability to innovate and expand their development pipeline.
The Role
As an Assistant Project Manager – Development, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality retirement communities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Reporting to the Head of Project Management and working closely with the Senior Project Manager, you will gain full project lifecycle exposure—from planning and procurement through construction delivery, FF&E fitout, and final key handover.
Based in Auckland, this role requires regular travel (from two days per week) to Tauranga to work on a key project. Additional travel to other North Island locations may be needed depending on project requirements. You’ll work across both office and site environments, engaging with multiple stakeholders, managing RFIs, defecting, and ensuring smooth project execution.
Key Responsibilities
If you’re ready to take the next step in your project management career, apply today. Contact Olivia Langford-Lee confidentially at 027 256 0620 for further details.
