As such Kiwi Property are looking to recruit an experienced Senior Project Manager to drive the design and delivery of seismic strengthening and asset improvement projects throughout Kiwi Property’s portfolio. The person will be instrumental in driving the successful delivery of multifaceted projects from conceptualisation to completion being the single point of contact throughout Kiwi Property’s portfolio in relation to:
  • earthquake strengthening works and earthquake damage remedial works
  • major remedial works; and
  • the improvement and/or refurbishment of existing assets.
Other Key Accountabilities:
  • Manage the project delivery through the end-to-end process to achieve completion on time and budget.
  • Provide strategic inputs to annual plans and capital budgets for each asset from resource planning to sales and purchase analysis.
  • Prepare, manage, and update all expenses and capital expenditures within budget.
  • Taking responsibility for the health and safety in potential live environment sites and ensuring all employees and contractors promote a safe and health workplace.
  • Extensive stakeholder management.
The successful candidate will be joining a motivated and highly talented team and will report to the Head of Development. The person will have project and design management experience at a senior level delivering construction/seismic/capital projects from ideas stage through to full commercialisation.

Further essential skills and attributes:
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in real estate, construction management, engineering, architecture or planning, or another related subject.
  • Proven record of leading internal and external teams to successful project outcomes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in managing projects in live operating environments; and
  • Capability to successfully lead and manage multiple project teams.
  • Additionally, an understanding of financial modelling, project feasibility studies, and property valuation methodologies would be advantageous.
