On behalf of Stride Property, one of New Zealand’s leading listed property businesses, Assemble are recruiting for a Property Manager to join the team. Stride is a specialist real estate investment manager and commercial property owner with over $3bn in assets under management across the Industrial, Office, Large Format Retail and Town Centre sectors. The role in question will see the successful candidate predominantly focused on managing a portfolio of large format retail investments within the Investore fund.

Key responsibilities and outcomes for the role include but are not limited to:
- Provide leadership on all facilities and property management related issues including H&S, environmental and sustainability initiatives, and implementation of industry best practise standards.
- Support the fund and asset management across a variety of functions including tenant liaison, lease management and reviews to ensure maximum value and operating income.
- Engage and maintain contractor relationships in terms of maintenance and capital works across the portfolio, ensuring works are completed to a high standard in line with expectations for sign-off.
- Financial management including preparation and monitoring of OPEX budgets as well as providing input to the formation of business plans and board reporting in respect of these.
- Ensure portfolio wide compliance and identify value add opportunities to enhance asset returns whilst building relationships with industry participants regarding transactions and opportunities within the portfolio.
To be successful in the role you should be able to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
- An NZ recognised tertiary degree in Property or related discipline is preferred but not essential.
- Have the skills to utilise financial information to enhance performance and minimise risk across the portfolio.
- Be an organised individual adept to planning own and others work to achieve goals and work efficiently with the available resources.
- Interact confidently with stakeholders building strong relationships at multiple levels.
