Westwood Group owns and manages a portfolio of properties in prime locations in the centre of Queenstown with a mix of office space, retail and hospitality premises. They currently handle almost 100 tenancies ranging from large retail shops leased to international brands to small, serviced offices for those just starting out in business.
They pride themselves on high interaction with tenants and as a result of their management, they have very few vacancies.
Westwood has recently purchased Ponsonby Central, in Auckland, signifying their aspirations to grow a portfolio of similarly high-quality assets in the North Island. To continue providing a high level of satisfaction and quality service to their tenants, the opportunity for a Leasing Executive to join the team has arisen.
The Role
The purpose of the role is to provide leasing and active management of Ponsonby Central in an accurate and timely manner, ensuring all legal requirements are met, and to manage marketing activities to promote our property. With an enviable tenant mix of some of the best retail and food & beverage operators in the country, this role requires somebody with an attitude and aptitude that gels well with the way these tenants think and operate.

About You
- A tertiary qualification in Property or similar field would be beneficial, but not essential
- Demonstrable experience in commercial/retail leasing, with the ability to negotiate effectively and drive transactional outcomes
- Be part of a management team focused on building culture and tenant success.
- Effective communicator both written and oral with internal and external clients.
- Be a problem solver, showing initiative and ability to make decisions while working autonomously.
- Excellent organisation and administrative skills including MS Office.
