As they continue to grow their team, they are looking for an experienced Senior Building Surveyor to assist with delivering a secured pipeline of work.
About the role: This is a client-facing, technical role where you will play a key part in delivering strategic building consultancy services.
You will:
- Conduct building surveys and provide detailed reports
- Manage and oversee building inspection programs
- Advise on property and construction, including dilapidations, defects, alterations, and repairs
- Assist clients with project management from inception to completion
- Prepare and negotiate tenders, contracts, and procurement of services
- Ensure compliance with building regulations and legal requirements
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver successful project outcomes
- Mentor and guide junior surveyors within the team
- Opportunities to take on leadership responsibilities for those demonstrating leadership and business acumen
- A degree in Building Surveying, Construction, or related field
- Experience as a (Senior) Building Surveyor, with a strong portfolio of completed projects
- MRICS Chartered status to sign off work
- Proven experience in managing complex surveying projects
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Excellent report writing
