Job description

A well-established consultancy with over 30 years of experience in surveying, planning, engineering, and environmental solutions is looking for an Environmental Engineer (T2) to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated engineer to contribute to stormwater management, environmental assessments, and three waters design projects while working within a collaborative and innovative environment.

As an Environmental Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality engineering solutions across a range of projects. You will:
  • Work closely with senior engineers on stormwater management, environmental modelling, and design projects
  • Assist in developing integrated catchment management plans
  • Conduct environmental assessments and site inspections
  • Engage with clients and local authorities to ensure project success
  • Participate in construction supervision and contribute to environmental engineering approvals
What We’re Looking For
  • A degree in Environmental Engineering or an equivalent qualification (BEngTech, Diploma, NZCE, or similar)
  • Good NZ experience with Civil3D software
  • Knowledge of three waters management, environmental regulations, and engineering design principles
  • Experience with field tests, environmental data collection, and reporting
  • Strong communication and client engagement skills
  • Competency in MS Office and familiarity with industry standards
  • A full NZ driver’s license
