Job description

This specialist kiwi-owned consultancy is looking for a Project Manager to join them at the heart of their project delivery team across commercial fit-out projects in Auckland in early 2025.  
They are enthusiastic, front runners with continued ongoing success over the past 20-years and a healthy pipeline of work lined up for 2023. They provide quality results with a tailored, personal approach and have strong relationships formed with both local and global clients, as well as government sector organisations.  

This role will see you delivering seamless end-to-end project management services across commercial fit-out projects.  
You will be working alongside a dynamic and innovative team of in-house architects and interior designers, collaborating to deliver creative, state-of-the-art projects for a broad range of respective clients.  

You will need to:
  • Ensure completion of the project in a timely manner and within the budgetary limits. 
  • Manage resources in conjunction with managers 
  • Maintain, manage and document all project reports and statements 
  • Client management – effectively work with team and managers to ensure relevant communication with the client is done 
  • Understand cost-to-completion projections and assist in making decisions accordingly.  
Requirements: 
  • Degree qualified – architecture, construction management, building science or carpentry
  • 4+ years experience working in a consultancy or client representative fit-out project management role 
  • Able to demonstrate project delivery ideally in interior fit-outs across a variety of asset classes 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills dealing with the demands of the client while working with designers and contractors on-site.  
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients
