The role:

Are you a motivated and skilled Resource Consent Planner seeking a rewarding career move? Join this collaborative team and make a significant impact! As a Planner, you'll play a pivotal role in guiding clients through the intricate web of regulatory requirements withresource management and environmental planning. Your responsibilities will be across a broad spectrum, including resource consents, district plan submissions, and environment court mediations for diverse projects.

Excitingly, you can choose your work location from among Queenstown, Wanaka, Alexandra, or Cromwell - a fantastic role in an equally amazing setting!

The ideal candidate will have:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in environmental planning, resource management, urban planning, or a related field.
  •  2 + years of experience as a Resource Consent Planner or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of local and national planning regulations and environmental laws.
  • Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Experience in preparing and managing resource consent applications.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
