Sylvia Park is a unique mixed use asset, which includes NZ’s largest shopping centre, as well as two on-site office towers and a mix of nearby commercial and industrial assets.  Our neighbours include the Kiwi Property owned largest Build-to-Rent apartment complex which opened in June this year.

We are recruiting for the new role of Assistant Centre Manager at Sylvia Park.  This role responsible for overseeing all aspects of management in conjunction with the Centre Manager, together with any special projects assigned from time to time, to ensure the best commercial performance from the shopping centre, and management of the asset to the highest standard. 

What you’ll be doing: 
  • Building strong relationships with local authorities, customers, retailers and suppliers 
  • Lease administration and monthly reporting 
  • Assisting with operational needs of the centre 
  • Ensuring the smooth running of the centre 
About you and your experience: 
  • Ideally three years relevant experience in retail or property sector 
  • Strong financial / budgeting experience preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Ability to build strong relationships within and across team 
  • Growth mindset, positive attitude, and customer-focus 
  • High financial aptitude and commercial acumen 
  • Ability to manage and prioritise time and work
