They are dedicated to delivering economic, social, and cultural outcomes for the Far North region. They work under the guidance of the FNHL Group Board, Bay of Islands Marina Limited Board, and Far North Housing Limited Board.

As such FNHL are looking to bring on board a Development Manager to drive the successful delivery of a number of key commercial and residential developments based in Kaikohe.
Role Overview:
As the Development Manager, you will initiate, manage, and complete property development projects in alignment with FNHL's strategic goals. Reporting to the Development Director, you will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.

Role Overview:
As the Development Manager, you will initiate, manage, and complete property development projects in alignment with FNHL's strategic goals. Reporting to the Development Director, you will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage consent applications and all aspects of project delivery.
- Prepare financial models, construction estimates, and development programs.
- Conduct due diligence on projects, identifying risks and developing management strategies.
- Oversee project designs and strategies to maximize investment outcomes.
- Coordinate resource consents to ensure continuous development across stages.
- Define project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders.
- Identify resource requirements and manage procurement, fee negotiations, and tender processes.
- Work with consultants to procure planning and construction approvals.
- Monitor project budgets and costs, managing changes to scope and schedule.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in construction, property, development, or engineering.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in project/development management within commercial, residential, or marine construction sectors.
- Strong understanding of project management software, procurement, contract management, and financial analysis.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
